Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez announced that the city government received two awards from the Komisyon ng Wikang Filipino (KWF) and Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System Regulatory Office (MWSS RO).
Olivarez said the KWF awarded the city with the “Selyo ng Kahusayan sa Serbisyo Publiko Antas II” for the second time during an awarding ceremony held at Seda Vertis North in Pasay City on August 30.
He said the award is in recognition to the city government for its effective and excellence use of Filipino language in the delivery of services.
Parañaque City was also lauded by the MWSS RO during its 27th anniversary celebration with the theme “Milestones in Motion."
The city was awarded with the "Kaagapay sa Kalusugan at Kapaligiran" award for its exceptional contributions to sewerage and sanitation programs aimed at fostering a healthier community and environment.
He said the recognition also highlights the city's commitment to sustainable and environmentally safe sewage systems in cooperation with the concessionaires.
