Iloilo City police chief extends aid to cop injured while chasing drug pusher

ILOILO CITY – Iloilo City Police Office chief Police Col. Kim Legada has extended assistance to a policeman who was injured while chasing a suspected drug pusher here.
“Our personnel are the backbone of our operations. We deeply value their dedication and bravery in the line of duty,” said Legada during a visit to the injured lawman in a hospital.

The police officer was injured after the police motorcycle he was driving crashed while chasing the suspect during a buy-bust operation in La Paz District on Tuesday, September 3.
The ICPO-La Paz Police Station nabbed him and his cohort who yielded P380,000 worth of suspected shabu.
Legada assured the family of the injured lawman that ICPO will provide all necessary aid during his recovery.
Police Major Shella Mae Sangrines, ICPO spokesperson, said the injured lawman will receive additional aid.
The Police Regional Office-6 under Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky and the Iloilo City government have pledged to provide additional support to him.
