BURDEOS, Quezon – A 58-year-old man was roused from sleep and shot dead in Sitio Maybuho, Barangay Palasan, this town, on Saturday night, September 28.
Police identified the victim as Larry Azores Peñamante.
Investigation said Peñamante was sleeping with his live-in partner when a gunshot was heard and a man ordered the victim to come out of the house.
The victim opened the door and four unidentified suspects shot the victim.
The suspects fled onboard a motor banca toward Patnanungan, Quezon.
Authorities declared the victim dead.
Police are conducting follow-up operations.
