8990 sells 4 condo towers to QC government

Housing developer 8990 Holdings Inc., through its wholly-owned subsidiary 8990 Housing Development Corporation, has signed an agreement with the Quezon City local government to build a four tower project.

In a statement, the firm said it has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the local government to provide 2,699 housing units to QC government employees and informal settler families (ISFs).

The new four-tower Urban Deca Homes Commonwealth project is located near Batasan Road in Bgy. Commonwealth and consists of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units with an estimated total value of P3 billion.

During the MOA signing Sept. 28, Quezon City Mayor Ma. Josefina Belmonte noted that it is the dream of every Filipino family to own a home. With this “innovative” project, “2,699 homes will be immediately made available to beneficiaries from District 2.”

She also praised 8990 for building a beautiful development for low-income earners since “they deserve the best.”

For his part, 8990 Housing Development Corp. Chairman Mariano Martinez Jr. Martinez said this milestone is 8990’s first housing project wherein they have partnered with a local government unit (LGU).

He expressed hope that with these new, ready homes, the community will be “closer to an inclusive and empowered Quezon City.”
