Cordillera police net P63-M shabu, marijuana in August

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Police seized shabu and marijuana worth P63.6 million and arrested 32 suspected drug pushers in the Cordillera region from August 1 to 31.

The Police Regional Office-Cordillera Regional Operations Division said 83 operations were conducted – 60 marijuana eradication, 12 buy-bust, five police response, four search warrants, and two warrants of arrest.

Seventeen drug pushers were street-level and 15 were high-value individuals.

Confiscated were 166.79 grams of shabu, 281,165 fully grown marijuana plants, 2,850 marijuana seedlings, 40 kilos of dried marijuana leaves and fruiting tops, and 6.4 kilos of dried marijuana valued at a total of P63,612,372.

The PRO-Cordillera said these achievements reflect their strong commitment to combating illegal drug activities and ensuring community safety.
