3 inmates escape amid 'Enteng' onslaught in Rizal


The Taytay Police Station announced on Tuesday, September 3, that it is offering a reward of P30,000 for information that may lead to the arrest of three inmates who escaped by taking advantage of the bad weather caused by Tropical Storm Enteng.

“Handang magbigay ng tig-10,000 libong piso kada PUPC bilang pabuya sa sinumang makakapagsabi at makapagbigay ng mahalagang impormasyon kaugnay sa nakatakas na tatlong PUPC (A reward of P10,000 per Person Under Police Custody (PUPC) is being offered to anyone who can provide valuable information regarding the escape of the three inmates),” authorities said.

The inmates, identified as Danny Boy Cancino, Kurt Cavasal, and Ronald Barrera, escaped from the Custodial Facility of the Taytay Police Station at the height of Tropical Storm Enteng.

Cancino and Barrera are facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, while Cavasal is facing charges for violating R.A. 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
