The Korean actress who played the role of Song Hye-kyo’s mother in the hit Netflix drama “The Glory” passed away.
Actress Park Ji-ah (Park Ji-A) died on Sept. 30 due to cerebral infarction, her agency told Korean media. She was 52.

"Park Ji-ah passed away at the age of 52 after battling a cerebral infarction at 2:50 a.m. today. We will forever remember the deceased's passion for acting until the very end," her agency, Billions Entertainment, said in a statement.
In “The Glory,” Park Ji-ah played the role of Jung Mi-hee, the mother of Moon Dong-eun (Song Kye-hyo).
She started her acting career in 1997 with a role in the film “Maria And The Inn.” Her recent projects were “Hijack 1971” and “Strong Girl Nam-soon.”
Park Ji-ah’s wake is at the Asan Medical Center Funeral Hall in Seoul. Her funeral will be held on Oct. 2.
