Businessman gunned down in Batangas

LEMERY, Batangas â€“ A businessman was shot dead in his store in Barangay Palanas, this municipality, on Saturday night, September 28.

Police identified the victim as Leonardo Aquino Agojo.

Investigation said Agojo was tending to his store when two men onboard a motorcycle arrived.

One of them approached the victim and shot him twice in the head. He died on the spot.

A caliber .45 magazine loaded with nine bullets and two empty shells were recovered in the area.

The suspects fled and a manhunt and follow-up investigation against them is underway.
