This was the latest reopening schedule following numerous delays on the repair of the controversial Ungka Flyover that was one of the last pet projects of former Ilonggo Sen. Franklin Drilon.

The P680-million flyover was closed to vehicular traffic in September 2022 due to cracks weeks after it formally opened.

The defects were attributed to unstable soil condition in the area.

The DPWH partially reopened the flyover for light vehicles last September 2023 to decongest heavy traffic during rush hour.
