Caloocan ‘Aksyon at Malasakit’ team holds proclamation rally


The Caloocan City’s “Aksyon at Malasakit” team conducted a proclamation rally held at the Caloocan Sports Complex in Barangay 171, Bagumbong, Caloocan, on Saturday, September 28.

Caloocan City Mayor Along Malapitan

 

City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan, along with Vice Mayor Karina Teh-Limsico and the city councilors, led the event, which marked the formal announcement of their candidacies and officially kicked off the team’s election campaign.

During the event, Mayor Malapitan reflected on the accomplishments and upcoming projects under his administration.

He stressed that earning the trust of the people requires dedication and effort.

“Pinaghihirapan po ang tiwala ng mga taga Caloocan (Trust from the people of Caloocan is something that must be earned through hard work),”

“Yan po ang natutunan ko sa halos dalawampung taon kung panunungkulan dito sa Caloocan (That is what I’ve learned in almost twenty years of serving here in Caloocan),” he added.

Mayor Malapitan officially announced his bid for re-election in the 2025 mayoral race, aiming to continue his leadership and advance his administration’s programs.

“Ako po, si Dale Gonzalo Along Malapitan, tunay na batang kangkalo. Pinagkatiwalaan ninyo sa mahabang panahon bilang kapitan, konsehal, congressman at ngayon, alkalde ng Caloocan at handa muling maglingkod sa inyo bilang inyong mayor sa 2025 (I am Dale Gonzalo Along Malapitan, a true native of Caloocan. You have entrusted me for a long time as barangay captain, councilor, congressman, and now, as the mayor of Caloocan. I am ready to serve you once again as your mayor in 2025),” he said.

He also reaffirmed his commitment along with his team to leading with action and compassion, working to enhance the lives of all Caloocan residents.

“Kasama ko ang buong team ng aksyon at palasakit. Sama-sama po natin ipakita na ang batang kangkalo ay para sa kapwa batang kangkalo (I am with the entire team of action and compassion. Together, let us show that a true native of Caloocan is dedicated to serving fellow Caloocan natives),” Malapitan added.

Malapitan also introduced his councilors from Districts 1, 2, and 3, as well as the city’s Congressman Oca Malapitan, Congresswoman Mitch Cajayon-Uy, and Congressman Dean Asistio.

The event was also attended by Makati Mayor Abby Binay, Department of Local and Interior Government (DILG) Secretary Benhur Abalos, Senator Francis Tolentino, Congresswoman Camille Villar, and Senator Imee Marcos.
