2 men arrested in buy-bust operation in Taguig

The Taguig Police arrested two suspected drug dealers in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Central Signal on Sept. 28.

The suspects, identified as alias Miyong, 26, and alias Arvin, 34, were nabbed by the Drug Enforcement Unit for alleged violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

During the operation, the police confiscated six plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 21.4 grams valued at P145,520. They also seized buy-bust money consisting of two P100 bills and five counterfeit P1,000 bills.

The seized illegal drugs were turned over to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for laboratory analysis.

The police will file a complaint against the two suspects with the Taguig City Prosecutor's Office.
