The TMC, the broadcast arm of TOPS Media Cebu Corp., was officially launched on Friday, September 27, with the aim of nurturing Cebuano talents in music and other fields, helping them shine on a global stage.

Former Y101 FM radio personality Jiggy Jr. and “Mashup King” Kuya Magik are the main personalities of TMC, which will bring Cebuano and worldwide listeners the ultimate goal of the media center which is to feature Cebuano and Visayan talents globally.

“The ultimate goal of TMC is to nurture and help grow Cebuano, Visayas, and Original Pilipino Music (OPM) and to discover a global star from among us, through radio, social media, and all available channels,” Jiggy Jr. said.

Located on the fourth floor of The Circle, TMC has secured the 105.1 radio frequency of dyUR broadcasting.

"TMC is a media hub for everything. It is not just a radio station, not just a podcast studio, or even a record label, but we are bringing the best of us, the Cebuanos, to the world," said TMC personality Kuya Magik.

Through the "The Best of Us” show, TMC will give Cebuanos and the world their seamless blend of live radio, engaging podcasts, and real-time interaction through their high-technology equipment and hybrid production set, added Jiggy Jr.

Jiggy Jr. highlighted that TMC will showcase local and undiscovered artists as it also boasts a state-of-the-art website, www.topsmediacenter.com, described as a gateway to a diverse world of news, entertainment, and music, all designed to captivate and connect.

The media center is expanding its presence on social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.

Kuya Magik added that they operate 24/7 with an FM show and are open to collaborations with various artists, influencers, and content creators who wish to use their free podcast and recording studios, among other facilities.

The media center will also soon feature shows by Cebuanos like Chase Cokaliong, Kenneth Cobonpue, and Sen. Raffy Tulfo.

“Sen. Tulfo will have the local version of his current top-rated radio program in TMC,” said Jiggy Jr.

The launching of TMC came seven months after the soft opening of TOPS, Cebu's most iconic landmark with a 360-degree panoramic view of the city.
