KTM and Husqvarna motorcycles will have a new distributor in the Philippines. KTM Philippines, operated by Ayala-owned Adventure Cycle Philippines, Inc. (ACPI), announced in its social media channels that the company will “cease its operations as KTM and Husqvarna distributor on September 30, 2024.” Leading up to this, ACPI had mutually agreed with KTM AG to pre-terminate the Importer Agreements.

In their place, a new distributor will be taking the reigns. This distributor, Lucky MAPI will “oversee the marketing, sales, after-sales services, and other operational activities relating to the KTM and Husqvarna Motorcycle brands in the Philippines.” This transition will take effect on October 1, 2024.

ACPI was part of Ayala Corporation’s ACMobility group which includes exclusive Philippine distribution rights for brands like BYD, Volkswagen, and Kia. It also operates some dealerships of Honda and Isuzu vehicles.

Lucky MAPI, is a part of the Motor Ace Philippines, Inc. (MAPI) group, which is a veteran retailer of KTM and other motorcycle brands in several locations in the Philippines.

More details about the transition of distributorship will be revealed through official announcements in the coming days.
