In the statistics released by the league on Saturday, Sept. 28, SMB’s Fajardo zoomed to the top spot with an average of 43.9 statistical points behind per game numbers of 21.3 points and locals-best 15.0 rebounds.

NLEX’s Robert Bolick placed far second with 38.7 SPs on averages of 20.4 points, 6.9 rebounds and league-best 8.6 assists while NorthPort’s Arvin Tolentino, who led the locals in scoring with 23.7 points along with 8.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.2 steals, settled at the third spot with 37.5 SPs.

Rounding up to the Top were Fajardo’s teammate CJ Perez with 37.0 SPs and Barangay Ginebra’s Japeth Aguilar with 33.4 SPs. The Beermen guard had averages of 20.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.2 steals while the Kings forward finished the eliminations with 19.5 points, 6.3 rebound, and 1.0 blocks.

Scottie Thompson finished at the sixth spot with 30.3 SPs followed by Blackwater rookie Sedrick Barefield with 29.5 SPs .Alec Stockton of Converge (29.1 SPs), Stephen Holt of Ginebra (28.4 SPs) and Chris Newsome of Meralco (28.1 SPs) complete the Top 10.

Meanwhile in the import race, King, who once delivered a 64-point explosion for Blackwater, holds the top spot with 61.7 SPs, largely behind his league-leading scoring of 40.3 points per game along with 13.1 rebounds, and  4.7 assists.

Not too far behind however is reigning Best Import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson of defending champions TNT, collecting 57.6 SPs with his 27.1 points, 13.0 rebounds and import-bests 6.2 assists and 2.7 steals along with 2.1 blocks.

DeQuan Jones sat at the third spot with 55.3 SPs while SMB’s former import Jordan Adams placed at the fourth with 50.1 SPs. Jalen Jones of Converge is at the fifth spot with 47.5 SPs just slightly ahead of Ginebra’s resident import Justin Brownleeat the sixth with 47.1 SPs.

In the rookies race, Barefiel, the No. 2 pick of the recent draft, is being challenged by the third overall pick and Ginebra’s RJ Abarrientos who placed second with 26.1 SPs, followed by eighth pick and Rain or Shine’s Felix Pangilinan-Lemetti who had 22.7 SPs.

Rounding up the Top 5 is another Elasto Painter rookie in Caelan Tiongson, with 22.2 SPs, at the fourth spot and Meralco Bolts freshman, CJ Cansino with 22.0 SPs.
