Las Piñas City Council joins policy-making training on gender sensitivity

Members of the Las Piñas City Council participated in the two-day seminar aimed at equipping local officials with the skills necessary in creating effective policies on gender sensitivity.

Las Piñas City Vice Mayor April Aguilar, together with key officials, attended the two-day seminar organized by the City Planning and Development Office held at the Excelsior Hotel.

The participants engaged in discussions aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of gender-related issues and solutions and integrating them into local governance frameworks.

The vice mayor said the initiative forms part of the city's broader effort to strengthen its commitment to gender equality and responsive governance.
