Bulacan flood victims get help from prov'l government


The Provincial Government of Bulacan distributed more than 5,000 relief goods to flood victims in Obando, Bulacan on Tuesday, Sept. 24.

The recipients were the families affected by flooding in Barangays Salambao, Lawa, and Paco.

Governor Daniel Fernando, Vice Governor Alexis Castro, Rowena J. Tiongson of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) and Ret. PCol. Manuel M. Lukban Jr. officer of the Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM) led the ditribution of the relief goods.

They were assisted by Obando Vice Mayor Arvin A. Dela Cruz and members of the Sangguniang Bayan and Barangay officials. 

On Monday, Sept. 23, Fernando, Castro, Bulacan First District Representative Danilo A. Domingo and Calumpit Mayor Lem Faustino also distributed over 2,000 relief goods to the flood victims of Barangay Pungo, Calumpit.
