CAVITE – Over 100,000 Caviteños are expected to benefit from the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) scheduled at Emilio Aguinaldo Elementary School in Kawit on Sept. 27 and 28.

In a press conference on Wednesday, September 25, Cavite 1st Rep. Jolo Revilla, Cavite 2nd District Rep. Lani Mercado-Revilla, AGIMAT Partylist Rep. Bryan Revilla, and Shawn Capucion of the BPSF National Secretariat discussed the services to be offered by 61 participating government agencies during the event.

According to Capucion, the service fair is an opportunity to introduce Filipinos to various government services.

“These are convergence programs na mas nama-maximize natin ang services ng ibang ahensya (These are convergence programs that allow us to maximize the services of other agencies),” Capucion said.

“There are so much more that the government has to offer, hindi lang po nakikita ng mga kababayan natin (it's just that our fellow citizens don’t always see it). This is also a platform for that.”

Capucion mentioned a long-term plan to establish one-stop-shop service centers, which would allow citizens to transact with various government agencies in one venue.

Aside from the main event in Kawit, satellite events are also scheduled across the province, including the Cash Assistance and Rice Distribution Program for 10,000 beneficiaries at the Imus City Grandstand and the Integrated Scholarship and Incentives Program for 5,000 student beneficiaries at the Bacoor Elementary School.

There will also be a Start-Up, Investments, Business Opportunity and Livelihood Program for 10,000 beneficiaries at the Maple Grove in General Trias City.

On its third leg in Calabarzon following the caravans in Laguna and Batangas, BPSF Cavite is hosted by the three Revilla representatives, along with Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. and the assistance of Cavite 6th District Rep. Antonio A. Ferrer and Cavite 3rd District Rep. Adrian Jay C. Advincula.
