Police said the suspects – Jojo and Nonoy, residents of Tigbauan town, Iloilo province considered as high-value individuals in the illegal drugs trade – yielded 200 grams of shabu in Barangay Q. Abeto, Mandurriao District.

This was the latest successful anti-drug operation by the ICPO-CDEU now led by Police Capt. Ryan Inot.

Since becoming ICPO-CDEU chief, Inot and his team had several big hauls, including P1.4-million shabu seized in 24 hours from September 11 to 12 and P1.3-million last week.

The ICPO-CDEU was cited by Police Regional Office-6 chief Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky and ICPO head Police Col. Kim Legada.

“This accomplishment speaks of your determination and the result of the community's active support and participation,” said Wanky.
