The fire started from a dressing room on the third floor of the five-storey house and damaged about P80,000 worth of properties, the fire station reported.
In a public post on Facebook on Sept. 24, Janelle Nico Calimag Supan said the incident was traumatic.
She said they were on the fourth floor celebrating their mother’s birthday when the fire broke out from the third floor.
“Nakakatrauma talaga! Mabuti at nakababa kami agad dahil may usok na (It was really traumatic! We were having fun because it’s mom’s birthday and we were having a simple celebration with the family. We were on the fourth floor and the fire started from the third floor. It was a good thing that we were able to immediately come down because there was already smoke),” she wrote.
Here is the rest of her Facebook post:
A netizen commented, “Thank you Lord at safe po kayong pamilya.”
A total of 25 fire trucks and two ambulances responded to the incident.
