Cops net P27.9-M shabu, marijuana in Cordillera

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – The Police Regional Office-Cordillera conducted 31 anti-illegal drug operations and confiscated suspected shabu and marijuana valued at P27.9 million from September 16 to 22.

Seven suspected drug pushers were arrested.

Lawmen found 107,430 fully grown marijuana plants, 6,276 marijuana seedlings, 51 kilos of dried marijuana leaves, and 12.96 grams of shabu.

The Kalinga Police Provincial Office confiscated illegal drugs valued at P22,020,240 and arrested two drug pushers considered as street-level individuals;  Benguet PPO, P5,870,188 and a high-value individual; the Baguio City Police Office, shabu worth P33,660 and two drug pushers, one an HVI and the other a SLI; Abra PPO, shabu valued at P14,280 and an SLI, and Apayao PPO, shabu worth P6,800 and an HVI.
