Parañaque Police files charges vs Chinese involved in Pasay shooting


A Chinese national involved in the Pasay road-rage shootout incident on September 21 was charged with illegal possession of firearm and concealing his true identity at the Parañaque City Prosecutor’s Office on Monday, September 23.

The suspect, identified as “Lin," 34, was arrested by members of the Tambo Police Substation after receiving an alarm from the Pasay City Police that a suspect involved in a shooting incident fled towards the direction of Parañaque City onboard a white NWOW E-Bike that he stole.

Lin was arrested near a construction site on Macapagal Boulevard in Barangay Tambo.

During the investigation, the suspect was found using fictitious names to conceal his identity and previous crimes which include kidnapping and illegal possession of firearm.

Lin is currently detained at the Parañaque City Police custodial facility.
