Ambassador Endo Kazuya pays courtesy call to PCO Secretary Cesar Chavez

On Sept. 18, 2024, Ambassador Endo paid a courtesy call to Secretary of the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), Cesar Chavez. During the meeting, Ambassador Endo congratulated Chavez on his new appointment as head of the PCO. 

He also expressed appreciation for Chavez’s continued commitment to bolstering Japan-Philippines relations, especially thanking him for his cooperation with Japan on Philippine infrastructure development during his time as Department of Transportation (DoTr) undersecretary.

Chavez welcomed Ambassador Endo and expressed eagerness to work with him to further strengthen bilateral relations between Japan and the Philippines.
