The Hotshots and the FiberXers battle first in the 5 p.m. contest with the winner claiming the third seed in Group A behind the idle No. 1 and 2 teams TNT and Meralco, while the loser is getting relegated to the fourth spot to face Rain or Shine.

The Elasto Painters, meanwhile, are looking to build momentum in the 7:30 p.m. affair against the Bossing.

So far, only the Group B positions are set in stone with ROS, regardless of the outcome against Blackwater, secured at the top spot followed by San Miguel and Ginebra. While the Beermen and Kings both have a similar 6-4 slate, SMB took the second seed with a +43 point differential over Ginebra.

With NLEX’s victory on Sunday, it completed the Top 4 and will be facing Group A top seed TNT while the second seed Meralco will take on Ginebra in the crossover quarterfinals.

That being said, only the matchups for ROS and San Miguel are yet to be determined which will be heavily dependent on the outcome of the between Magnolia and Converge.

Both squads have punched their tickets to the playoffs after Magnolia’s 110-94 victory over NorthPort. Still, they are both aiming for a better position in the standings.

The winner of the match will finish as the third seed facing off against SMB while the loser of the contest will be at the fourth spot against ROS.

On top of that, the game would also be a good opportunity to get their respective imports more accustomed to their systems.

The FiberXers have tapped the services of Jalen Jones in lieu of Scotty Hopson, and while he had 32 points in his debut, a lot is still to be desired from him particularly on his efficiency after needing 34 shots to reach his output.

Magnolia, meanwhile, is parading its third import of the conference in Rayvonte Rice, after Shabazz Muhammad sustained a knee injury.
