10 houses damaged in Sampaloc fire

Around 10 houses were gutted in a fire that broke out along Amelya Street in Sampaloc, Manila, on Monday, September 23.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire started around 2:41 p.m. and was immediately raised to second alarm at 2:48 p.m.

It was put out at 5:51 p.m. and rendered at least 38 families homeless.

BFP said they are still determining the cause of the fire.
