Struggling to keep up with the rest of competition, the Blue Eagles got the much needed boost from their second unit who delivered the telling blows when the Soaring Falcons threatened in the fourth quarter.

The Katipunan-based squad finally recorded its first win after three failed tries, leaving FEU as the only winless squad at 0-3.

Meanwhile, Adamson absorbed its second loss with two victories.

Shawn Tuano came off the bench and scored 11 points. He was the only double-digit scorer for Ateneo with Kristian Porter tallying eight points along with 10 rebounds.

Cedrick Manzano chalked up an all-around effort of 14 points, seven rebounds and two assists for the Soaring Falcons while Joshua Yerro and Eli Ramos had six apiece.
