'The On1y One' star Benjamin Tsang reaches 100,000 followers on Instagram

Actor Benjamin Tsang, star of the current Taiwanese boys’ love (BL) drama “The On1y One,” has reached a milestone on his Instagram account.

Tsang’s followers on Instagram reached 100,000 at about 8:06 p.m. on Sept. 20.

Since the release “The On1y One” (某某) on streaming platforms in August, Tsang (曾向镇) experienced a surge in Instagram followers. The BL drama is available on GagaOOLala, Netflix, iQIYI, Viki and WeTV.

From 68,366 followers as of Sept. 8, his Instagram account garnered more followers daily until reaching 100,000 on Sept. 20, or an increase of 31,634, based on Social Blade numbers.

In “The On1y One,” Tsang plays the role of Jiang Tian, a top student who meets Sheng Wang played by actor Liu Dong Qin), a transferee who becomes part of the class.

Tsang was so thankful for starring in the BL drama that he wrote on Instagram, “Jiang Tian, you gave me a lot. Thank you.”

The drama has become popular and brought fame to Tsang and Liu Dong Qin.

New episodes of “The On1y One” are streamed every Wednesday and Thursday.
