Calabarzon's most wanted for rape arrested in Antipolo

A man charged with rape and tagged as one of the most wanted persons in the Calabarzon (Cavite-Laguna-Batangas-Rizal-Quezon) region was arrested in Antipolo, Rizal on Thursday, September 19.

The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) identified the suspect as a certain "Brags." He was arrested following the joint operation conducted by the Antipolo City Component Police Station in Barangay Cupang.

He was arrested based on a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court (RTC), Fourth Judicial Region in Antipolo City, for the crime of rape, with no bail recommended.

The suspect is currently in the custody of the Antipolo City Custodial Facility.

The Rizal PPO said it will continue its efforts against wanted persons as well as its mission to combat crimes that threaten security, peace, and order in the province.
