Akbayan Party youth members plastered “Wanted” posters of former Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque along Kalayaan Plaza, Barangay Central, Quezon City on Friday, September 20.

They plastered the posters that said “WANTED, Harry Roque POGO lawyer” around the market and distributed the posters to residents, tricycle drivers, and vendors in the area.

“Payo namin kay Roque na lumabas na sa pinagtataguan niya at harapin ang house committee. Hindi lang House of Representatives ang tumutugis sa kanya kundi mga mamamayan din (We advise Roque to come out of  hiding and face the house committee. Not only the House of Representatives is chasing him but also the citizens),” Meneses said.

“His roles and ties with POGO industry are too obvious and blatant. Hindi na niya madadaan sa pagpapalusot at pagsisinungaling na dati na niyang ginawa para kay Duterte (His roles and ties with POGO industry are too obvious and blatant. He will no longer be able to evade this by lying which he used to do for Duterte),” she added.

The group urged the people to help the authorities in tracking down Roque.

“We are calling on our citizens to join efforts to track down Harry Roque. Kung patuloy niyang susuwayin ang kanyang tungkuling sumunod sa subpoena ng House Quad Committee, gagawin namin ang tungkulin namin bilang mamamayan na tumulong sa pagtugis sa POGO lawyer (We are calling on our citizens to join efforts to track down Harry Roque. If he continues to defy his duty to comply with the House Quad Committee's subpoena, we will do our duty as citizens to help pursue the POGO lawyer),” she said.

Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil had earlier ordered the creation of tracker teams to serve the House of Representatives' arrest warrant against Roque. The document was issued after Roque snubbed summons and failed to submit documents in relation to his wealth increase.
