ILOILO CITY – Police Regional Office-6 (Western Visayas) chief Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky said on Monday, September 2, that TV host Jeffrey Celiz, alias Ka Eric, should stop baseless allegations against the Philippine National and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
“He better keep quiet (if he does not have any evidence),” said Wanky.

Celiz said in an interview with Bombo Radyo that PNP and PDEA regional directors were receiving P2 million per week in payola or bribe money from organized drug syndicates.
“The PRO-6 will not dignify the baseless and malicious allegations,” said Wanky.
Celiz is an Ilonggo who was a consultant of the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) during the Duterte administration.
Celiz claimed to be a former New People’s Army (NPA) rebel but was known as a Left-leaning activist and served as political liaison officer of former Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog who former President Rodrigo Duterte accused of protecting drug syndicates.
Wanky acknowledged the role of Celiz in NTF-ELCAC but he said that Celiz is only adding to problems with the baseless allegations.
He cited former PRO-6 Director Police Brig. Gen. Bernardo Diaz who was on the list of alleged drug protectors.
Wanky said Diaz and his family suffered from being implicated without evidence.
Meanwhile, Wanky assured that PRO-6 is relentless in the campaign against illegal drugs.
