Teenage boy stabbed dead by minor cousin during drinking spree
KASIBU, Nueva Vizcaya – A teenage boy was allegedly stabbed to death by his minor cousin during a drinking session in an abandoned house in Barangay Tokod here on Thursday night, August 29.

Police Capt. Joey Flores, Kasibu deputy chief of police, said the victim, Junjun, and the suspect, Mon, and seven friends were having a drinking session when Junjun suddenly stood up and angrily punched the wall of the house.
Their companions left out of fear but the suspect stayed behind to pacify Junjun.
But the victim turned his anger on the suspect and choked him. Mon obtained a hunting knife and stabbed the victim multiple times.
The victim died on the spot and suspect fled.
The following day, the suspect revealed the crime to his parents who turned him over to the police.
The suspect is under the custody of the Kasibu police Women’s and Children’s Protection Desk (WCPD). He will be turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) after the inquest proceedings for a homicide case.
Police are closely monitoring establishments in this town selling alcohol to minors. They reminded the public that selling alcohol to minors is strictly prohibited and violators have appropriate penalties.
