Senate President Francis "Chiz" Escudero suspended work in the upper chamber on Monday, Sept. 2, due to the inclement weather brought by Tropical Storm Enteng.
"In view of the inclement weather caused by Tropical Storm Enteng, Senate President Francis "Chiz" G. Escudero has declared the suspension of work today, Monday, 2 September 2024," Senate Secretary Atty. Renato Bantug, Jr. said in a statement.
The plenary session will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
Meanwhile, the new schedule for the hearings canceled on Monday is yet to be announced.
