Razon is the Chairman of International Container Terminal Services, Inc., Bloomberry Resorts Corporation, Manila Water Company and Prime Infra.

“This fake news item has been designed to resemble the interface of Inquirer.net's website and features a misleading lead photo of Mr. Razon. It has been further promoted through sponsored posts on Facebook and Instagram,” said a statement issued by ICTSI.

The firm stressed that, “We wish to inform the public that Mr. Razon has no pending civil or criminal cases before any Philippine court or government agency.

“We urge everyone to exercise caution and critical thinking when encountering such information online. Please rely on official ICTSI information and verified sources for accurate and reliable news.”

The perpetrators of this clickbait has also used the name and photograph of JG Summit President Lance Gokongwei with a similar story that he is allegedly being sued for something he said at the sidelines of a television interview while his microphone was still on.
