A total of P3,502,000 worth of alleged shabu was seized from a 24-year-old man in a buy-bust operation in Quiapo, Manila, on Sunday, September 1.
The Manila Police District (MPD) identified the suspect as Charito Balawag, resident of Aplaya Street Baseco, Tondo, Manila.
According to the police report, the suspect was arrested at around 8:20 p.m. on Sunday along Carlos Palanca Street near corner Rizal Avenue, Barangay 306, Quiapo, Manila.
Police recovered from the suspect ten plastic sachets containing 515 grams of suspected shabu.
The suspect will face charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
