The city governments of Las Piñas and Pasay suspended classes at all levels for both public and private schools on September 2 due to Tropical Storm Enteng.
Las Piñas Mayor Imelda Aguilar and Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano immediately ordered the suspension of classes on Sunday night, September 1, based on the recommendation of their respective City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO).
The mayors both advised the schools in their area to shift to modular or online classes for the safety of students and teaching personnel.
