#EntengPH: Classes in Cavite remain suspended on Sept. 3

CAVITE—Classes in all levels in the province remain suspended on Tuesday, Sept. 3, due to intermittent weather brought by Tropical Storm Enteng and the southwest monsoon.

In a Facebook post, Gov. Jonvic Remulla announced the class suspension on Monday, Sept. 2.

“Pareng #EntengPH bakit ka ganyan? Ang usapan Sept 2 lang. Nandito ako sa Julugan VIII Tanza at may despedida sana para sa iyo. Ayaw mo naman umalis. Ang lakas lang ng ulan (Hey, buddy #EntengPH, why are you like this? We agreed on September 2 only. I'm here in Julugan VIII Tanza and was planning a farewell for you. But you don't want to leave, and the rain is so heavy),” Remulla said in a Facebook post.

“Bukas sana ay mangibang bansa ka na. Miss na kase ng mga bata ang mga crush nila. Pero dahil ayaw mo umalis: #WalangPasok CAVITE Sept 3, 2024 (We were hoping you’d head to another country by tomorrow. The kids already miss their crushes. But since you don't want to leave: #NoClasses in CAVITE on September 3, 2024) Classes suspended in all levels. Keep safe everyone."

At 2:00 p.m. on Sept. 2, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration issued an orange rainfall warning in Cavite, alongside Quezon, Zambales, Bataan, Batangas, Laguna, Metro Manila, and Rizal.
