Tulfo brothers dominate OCTA’s 2025 senatorial survey

OCTA Research’s “Tugon ng Masa (TNM)” Third Quarter 2024 nationwide survey revealed that brothers ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo and broadcaster Ben Tulfo are tied for the top spot in the 2025 senatorial preference survey results.

In its survey conducted from Aug. 28 to Sept. 2, OCTA asked 1,200 respondents, “If the May 2025 elections are held today, who will you likely vote for as senator?” 

Sixty percent answered Erwin Tulfo, while 57 percent responded Ben Tulfo, with both potential candidates tied for first and second place.

In the third to fourth positions is former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III with 50 percent.

Senator Christopher “Bong” Go occupied the third to sixth spots with 49 percent.

Sharing the fourth to sixth rankings are former senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson and Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr., each with 44 percent.

Senator Pia Cayetano received 35 percent of the voter preference, placing her in the seventh to 12th spots, followed by Senator Francis Tolentino and former senator Manny Pacquiao, each with 34 percent and sharing the seventh to 13th places.

Sharing the seventh to 15th spots are Senator Imee Marcos, Senator Lito Lapid, and former president Rodrigo Duterte, each receiving 33 percent of the votes.

Meanwhile, Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa placed in the eighth to 15th spots, with 29 percent.

Ranked 10th to 16th are Interior and Local Government Secretary Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos and social media personality Dr. Willie Ong, each with 28 percent.

The TNM survey is an independent and non-partisan poll conducted regularly by OCTA.

The survey fieldwork was conducted using face-to-face interviews from Aug. 28 to Sept. 2 with 1,200 male and female probability respondents aged 18 years and above.

The survey has a ±3 percent margin of error at a 95 percent confidence level.
