Man leaves 17-year-old girl at police station after raping her in Manila

A man was arrested after he allegedly raped a 17-year-old girl and later left her at a police station in Ermita, Manila, the Manila Police District (MPD) reported on Thursday, September 19.

MPD identified the suspect as Rommel, 49, a resident of Bocobo Street, Barangay 702, Malate, Manila.

Police said the suspect saw the victim walking along Remedios Street in Malate, at around 2 p.m. on September 17.

The victim told the police that the suspect offered her lunch to which she agreed to.

After eating lunch, she was then invited by the suspect to come with him to his friend's house where she was raped.

For some unknown reason, the suspect left the victim at MPD Ermita Police Station after committing the crime.

When the suspect left, the victim immediately narrated to the police that she was molested by the suspect.

Police went to Barangay 705 with the victim, which resulted in the arrest of the suspect.
