Ex-employee robs roast chicken store in Bacoor

CAVITE – Authorities arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 18, a man who allegedly robbed a roast chicken store in Bacoor City where he was formerly employed.

Police Regional Office 4A identified the 23-year-old suspect as alias John.

Initial investigation revealed that alias John went to the roast chicken branch on the night of Sept. 17. Armed with a knife, he reportedly forced the store employee on duty into the restroom.

The suspect then stole P21,000 from the cash register before fleeing.

Upon receiving the report, Bacoor Component City Police Station (CCPS) operatives conducted a hot pursuit, which led to the suspect's arrest.

Alias John is now under the custody of Bacoor CCPS.
