P447,000 shabu seized in Rizal buy-bust op

Authorities collared two high-value individuals (HVIs) and confiscated P447,644 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Binangonan, Rizal, on Thursday, September 19.

The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) identified the suspects as “Tae,” 47, and “Set,” 36.

They were arrested following the operation conducted by the Drug Enforcement Team of the Binangonan Municipal Police Station in Barangay Tatala.

However, police said that another suspect, who was identified as "Taneg,” remains at large after he managed to escape during the operation.

Authorities recovered around 65.83 grams of shabu from the two suspects. The confiscated drugs were brought to the Rizal Provincial Forensic Unit for proper disposition.

The suspects are currently detained at the Binangonan Custodial Facility and are facing charges for violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
