BLACKPINK's Jennie denies dating rumors with GOT7's BamBam

BLACKPINK’s Jennie denied that she is dating K-pop group GOT7 member BamBam after they were spotted together in Los Angeles.

On Sept. 18, photos of the two together spread online, showing them at Sushi Park, a Japanese restaurant in West Hollywood, California.

These spawned speculations that Jennie and BamBam are dating.

On Sept. 19, OA Entertainment, Jennie’s agency, issued a statement to deny the dating rumors.

"The two people who are friends just met in the US and had a meal together. The dating rumors are groundless," the agency said, Korean media reported.

In addition, her agency also denied that Jennie’s fandom name is “Rubies,” which overlaps with singer Kwon Eun-bi’s fandom name “Rubi.”

"'Rubies' is the name of the news page where we deliver news to fans. It is not the official fandom name,” said OA Entertainment.

Jennie recently signed up with Columbia Records and will release her solo single in October.
