Tutok To Win Party-List Representative and Dear SV public service show host Sam Verzosa neither confirmed nor denied whether he was running for the 2025 elections in Manila.

Rumor has it that Sam was running for mayor of Manila, the Philippines' capital and second most populous city.  Instead of discussing the 2025 national elections, Sam pledged to continue assisting the poor and motivating the people of Manila.

During his birthday celebration at the Maserati car showroom in Greenhills, San Juan, on Sept. 12, Sam expressed gratitude for his current status as a businessman and a politician.

The businessman-politician added: “Naging congressman ako tapos ngayon, nakakapagsilbi pa ako sa buong Pilipinas. Nagpunta na ako sa iba’t ibang bansa, nagbukas ng iba’t ibang negosyo. 

"More than 20 years na po tayong nasa negosyo. Sabi ko nga, nakapunta na ako sa iba't ibang lugar sa Pilipinas,

"Nagkaroon ng mga ganitong klaseng international companies so wala na akong mahihiling pa," Sam also said. “I am just grateful. Hindi ko naman pinapapunta sa ulo ko. Ang nasa utak ko lang, kailangan i-share ko ito sa mas marami."

Sam added: “To whom is much given much is expected so talagang ibinibigay ko yan, una, sa pamilya ko, sa mga kamag-anak, sa mga humihingi ng tulong, sa mga kapitbahay, hanggang sa mga kasama sa kompanya, hanggang mapunta sa iba’t ibang mga nangangailangan sa ospital, simbahan, lahat ng charities halos sa Pilipinas, naging partner na namin. Hanggang sa charities sa animals."

Sam, who just turned 37, values hard work as it paves the way for his business success.

"Sa negosyo kasi busy ka talaga, habang hindi pa siya malaki marami kang ginagawa  para maging successful siya. Wala kang iniisp kundi ang growth ng company na nasimulan mo. 

"In short everything else is irrelevant. Wala ka ng ibang nakikita kundi ang task na nasa harapan mo. And that is to make your business a success.

"Sa awa ng Diyos, our hard work paid-off. Frontrow became very successful. What a lot of people don’t know is that to be successful in Frontrow, you have to pay it forward. 

"Ibig sabihin, no one can make it on his own. Kailangan mo yung tulong ng ibang tao. So kung mas marami kang matulungan, mas maraming tutulong sayo. At mas lalago ang negosyo mo," Sam also said.

Rhian Ramos

Stars and businessmen greeted Sam on his birthday. On hand to help Sam celebrate his birthday was his girlfriend, actress Rhian Ramos.

Rhian was asked if she was ready to become Manila's first lady.

"You know what, I’ve been asked this before. I don’t know. “It’s not the future I envisioned for myself.

"I didn’t think that I would be here thinking of being a first lady of anything, but wala naman akong choice. I would do anything for Sam.

"I think not only because I believe him and his purpose, I feel like his intentions are really pure," Rhian said.

Sam said that he became the best version of himself because of Rhian.

“Bumait ako lalo. Marami tayong good habits na nadagdag sa buhay ntiin, natanggal yung ibang bad habits. And lalo akong na-inspire to become the best, best, best person of myself dahil sa kanya," the politician-businessman said.

Reacting to the statement, Rhian said: "That's so sweet."

“Siyempre, that’s my goal naman. I think that’s our goal for each other na parang we can tell each other everything without feeling any fear.

“Na parang we can share however we feel, 'What happened to you today or whatever your thoughts, even if they’re dark thoughts,' but we’re just people.

“So I just want him to know that he doesn’t always have to be the best person if I am with him. If he’s the worst person, it’s okay and it’s safe," Rhian said.

When asked what made them click, Rhian stated: “Personality! Until this very day, kahit three years na kami, it just feels like it’s always exciting. I am learning something new about him every day."

Rhian also said: “He’s my best friend. We just get along really well. Para bang even the boring parts of life, which is like doing chores, cooking a meal or going to the supermarket, for us, it’s always exciting.”
