The suspect immediately fled on board a motorcycle driven by her live-in partner.

Bonilla said the victim sustained two stab wounds in the chest and passed away hours later  at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) here.

Police said a few months ago, the victim and the suspect allegedly figured in an altercation due to an undisclosed reason.

Bonilla said that the victim was offering manicure or nail care services at the public plaza.

He said they have identified the suspect who faces a  murder case.

The crime scene was a few meters away from the police station.
