Delay in the payment of depositors continues as BSP sets roadblock to AMA Bank reopening

AMA Bank depositors are expected to wait longer before regaining access to their deposit accounts, as the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has filed a second Motion for Reconsideration, ordering the closure of AMA Bank.

AMA Bank filed a motion in relation to BSP’s second Motion for Reconsideration. A copy of AMA's official statement published in broadsheet can be seen below:
