'Nakaka-proud!': Villar lauds Tasilay City's 'spirit of unity'

House Deputy Speaker and Las Piñas City lone district Rep. Camille Villar expressed her admiration for Talisaynons' “spirit of unity”, which led to numerous achievements as well as the development of Talisay City, Negros Occidental.

In her inspirational message during the city’s 25th Minulu-an Festival, Villar said: “Nakaka-proud po dahil buhay na buhay ang inyong spirit of unity bilang isang komunidad”.

(It makes me proud because your spirit of unity as a community is very much alive.)

“Let this remind us of your strength as a people, of your strength as a city,” she said.

Villar commended Tasilaynons for their dedication to promote the city, alongside its natural resources and capabilities, to the national stage.

"The continuous rise and development of the city of Talisay is due to all of you who are here,” the congresswoman said.

“Kayo po ang tunay na susi at yaman ng (You are the real key and treasure of) Talisay City”, Villar continued.

“Ang araw na ito ay nag-papaalala ng inyong pagkakaisa, ng inyong bayanihan, at ng inyong suporta at pagtutulungan sa isa’t isa,” she pointed out.

(This day is a reminder of your unity, your heroism, and your support and cooperation for each other.)

Villar says that the prosperity Talisay City is enjoying now would not be possible if residents did not work hand in hand to support the aspirations of every town in the city.

“The city government’s achievement should serve as a reminder to the residents of the years of collective hard work and perseverance that all of you has put together, leading to the development, prosperity, and progress of your beloved city,” she underscored.
