Government workers may avail of free rides on the Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) and the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) from Sept. 18-20, in celebration of the 124th anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service.
In a statement, the LRT-2 management said the free ride service will start at 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
For the MRT-3, the free ride will be from 4:30 a.m. until the end of the day operation.
Eligible passengers were advised to present their valid government-issued ID to avail of the free rides.
The LRT-2 line extends from Recto in Manila to Antipolo in Rizal province, while the MRT-3 line stretches from Taft Avenue in Pasay City to North Avenue in Quezon City.
