Farmer shot dead in Quezon

CANDELARIA, Quezon â€“ A 42 -year-old farmer was gunned down in Sitio Ibaba, Barangay Kinatihan 2, this town, on Monday afternoon, September 16.

Police identified the victim as Henry Mendoza of Barangay Pahinga Sur, this municipality.

Investigation said the victim was driving his motorcycle towards Barangay Pahinga Sur when two unidentified men onboard a motorcycle appeared. One of them drew a gun and shot him in the head.

The victim died on the spot and the suspects, one of who was wearing a yellow green T-shirt, fled.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
