Family of 3 perishes in Bulacan fire

A couple and their eight-year-old daughter died after being trapped in their burning house on Camino Street, Barangay San Jose in Bulakan, Bulacan on Monday, September 16.

Col. Satur L. Ediong, Bulacan police officer-in-charge, identified the victims as Rogelio Solis Jr., 46, his live-in-partner Kristine De Dios, 52, and their daughter Koreen D. Solis.

The victims' bodies were found inside their room.

Based on the initial investigation, the fire broke out at 3:00 a.m. from a bike shop beside the victim's house. 

The damage to property was estimated at over P1 million. 

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.
