Isko Moreno urges public to pray for ailing Dr. Willie Ong

Former Manila mayor Isko Moreno is urging people to pray for Dr. Willie Ong.

Note that just recently, the doctor-politician-vlogger took to social media to announce that he is battling abdominal cancer.

In an interview with GMA News, Isko deemed the development saddening, unfortunate, going on to call on the public to pray that Willie would eventually get through the hurdle.

"Nalulungkot ako at the same time hoping for his quick recovery. Sabi ko maraming nagmamahal sa kanya at umaasa sa mga gabay at payo niya sa kalusugan na mga kababayan natin."

Isko also shared what he told Willie during a recent conversation.

"Sinabi ko tatagan niya ang kanyang kalooban at may awa ang Diyos na malalagpasan din niya ang pagsubok na kinakaharap niya."

The actor-TV host ran for president in the 2022 national election with Willie as running mate.
