Elevate your ideas to the world stage: Red Bull Basement lands in the Philippines, seeking Filipino innovations

Red Bull Basement is set to catapult the brightest Filipino innovators onto the world stage as it launches in the Philippines. This initiative empowers the next generation to envision, develop, and launch groundbreaking ideas, with the power of artificial intelligence (AI) technology right at their fingertips.

 

Participants will receive the tools they need to craft a winning business plan. The winning national champion from the Philippines will earn an exclusive invitation to the Red Bull Basement World Final in Tokyo, Japan. The application period is open until September 30, 2024.

 

Red Bull Basement: Bringing Filipino Innovators to the Global Stage

In today’s world, young innovators are driven by a deep desire to make meaningful change, yet finding the right path can be challenging. Red Bull Basement offers a comprehensive platform where participants can unlock their potential through unique opportunities such as networking, collaboration, and expert-led workshops.

This empowers participants to challenge the status quo and bring their visionary ideas to life using the latest technology, leaving a lasting impact on a global scale.

 

Red Bull Basement Philippines invites a fresh cohort of student innovators, entrepreneurs, and tech enthusiasts to present their ideas. Participants are asked to harness AI to build robust business plans, identify key opportunities, prioritize growth areas, and bring their ideas to life. Teams of one or two innovators in the Philippines can apply by visiting the Red Bull Basement website. An intuitive AI tool will guide interested participants in creating and submitting a concise, one-page business plan. A panel of local judges will then select the top participants for the National Final.

Red Bull Basement has partnered with Microsoft and AMD for its 2024 edition, putting a strong emphasis on AI technologies to deliver an exceptional experience. The Red Bull Basement Chatbot, powered by Microsoft, will utilize Azure OpenAI Service and AMD Instinct™ accelerators to assist teams in developing their ideas and creating business plans. 

 

The winner(s) of the National Final will gain access to invaluable resources. They will refine their business plans and further develop their ideas, moving closer to launching their ideas as viable start-ups. They will also be equipped  with AI-enabled laptops featuring AMD’s latest Ryzen™ AI processor technology.

The National Champion will also head to the World Final, going up against innovators from 40 other countries, as the exclusive representative of the Philippines. This extraordinary event will feature intensive workshops and networking opportunities, culminating in the announcement of the global winner of Red Bull Basement 2024. The World Final winner will be given a 3-week hands-on experience at Silicon Valley, in California in 2025, which allows them to gain personal mentorship and networking opportunities with global industry leaders.
