7 hurt in 3-vehicle collision in Isabela

NAGUILIAN, Isabela – Seven persons were injured in a three-vehicle collision on the national highway in Barangay Pallattao here on Monday morning, September 16.

Police Lt. Mirasol Pelagio of the Naguilian police station said that the driver of a public utility bus, its five passengers, and the driver of a 12-wheel truck were injured.

Pelagio said the slow-moving 12-wheel truck was turning right when it was accidentally hit from behind by the GV Florida bus headed towards Ilagan City, Isabela. 

The bus driver lost control of the vehicle and accidentally bumped a 10-wheel truck parked on the road shoulder.

The injured were taken to the hospital. Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
